Our Origin

Daddy's Girls Inc. was inspired after the loss of our beloved father Dr. Eugene Walton. The process of our grief and loss brought us to a place of understanding that our journey was not just for us, but for others. To help make meaning of the loss, Daddy's Girls, Inc. was born to support women and girls navigate their pain, and bring them to a place of healing.

Our mission is to provide support, service, and sisterhood to women and girls who have experienced significant loss.

Fellowship

We build community through monthly Zoom calls designed to bring members together for learning, sharing, and studying the Word of God.

Coffee Chats, are weekly Zoom calls that allow members to call in for support, prayer, and to connect with other members.

Eat, Pray, Love is our annual trip that allows members to meet in an agreed-upon city for a time of fellowship, feasting, and fun.

“Net-Work” are services, products, and support offered by members.

Match new members with mentors that have experienced similar types of loss to offer support throughout their healing journey. And provide additional resources and professional services to members at a discounted rate.

Sponsorship

Fundraising efforts include grants and donations. Funds will be used to provide direct support to members and their families. Examples may include:

Temporary rent/mortgage assistance
Providing groceries and home goods
Subsidized mental health care, counseling and coaching support
Job fairs / Career Counseling (for members)
New business grants/micro-loans (for members)
